This model pays homage to the sunglasses worn by the protagonist in “My Own Private Idaho,” a masterpiece by Gus Van Sant, a film director whom the design team greatly admires.
The distinctive rim shape, which gradually widens outwards, is formed three-dimensionally by pressing titanium sheet repeatedly, achieving both sharp edges and soft lines.
The temple design incorporates elements of 1960s German vintage style, reinterpreting classic elements in a modern way.
The design, rooted in 1990s youth culture, is updated using contemporary manufacturing technology.
Through combining these references with precise craftsmanship, this model reflects EYEVAN’s signature approach.
Original CR39 4-curve lenses are used for sunglass lenses.
